The great white shark is also known as the (Carcharodon carcharias), it is the largest living species of the lamnidae sharks. It is one of the most dangerous predatory sharks in our oceans. Populations are increased in high temperature coastal waters such as the coasts of northeastern and western United States, northern Japan, and New Zealand. These are just a few examples of where this large fish can be located. They are prone to these areas due to the temperature feedings. Adult sharks feed on sea turtles, sea lions and most commonly seals. Despite what humans think, shark attacks mostly stem from their curiosity or mistaking a human for a seal lion or seal.
